Meeting Minutes:
Lydia
reported from the Fair Board that a new dress code for 4H and FFA livestock
exhibitors, and adopted Round Robin rules will all be listed in the premium
book.
Discussion was held regarding
the desire to increase communication between clubs and leaders council,
and to ascertain what the current 4H clubs in the county need from the
council. It was decided that through email,
Leader’s Council will try to design a survey to go out to clubs/parents/families
to hopefully gain this insight.

Teen Time 4-H will be on-hand Weds from 3-9ish to take your donations while we are setting up the display in the 4-H building, or you can bring it Thurs morning if needed. And then, coax all your family to stop by and bid often and bid high to support your County 4-H Program! If you can't be at fair, you can drop items off at the fair office, extension office, or call me and I'll make arrangements to meet up with you. Thanks to those who've already donated! Email Tip - "AWARDS given to market lamb winners!!" - - - If you are a 4-H sheep project member or leader - you might want to read that email. But that email may not arrive in your in-box - even if it was sent or forwarded by your best friend! (Quick quiz - how many "blockers" can you find in that subject line?)
Most marketers (and spammers) have learned to avoid typical spam blocker words. But you may not realize that your legitimate email didn't get through. Some internet providers do not provide a "spam folder" for people to check for blocked or missing emails.
To help keep spam filters from blocking
emails you send - don't include punctuation marks or symbols in
the subject line. Also avoid words such as •free •insurance •market •credit
• loan • opportunity • amazing • winner • prizes
