10:00 a.m. - Noon; 1:00 -  4:00 p.m. Horseless - Ages 5yrs & up (K-12 grade)
  8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. English*
11:15 a.m. - 12:00 noon Showmanship*
 Noon         -   1:00 p.m. Lunch on your own -  no concessions on grounds

Instructors*

Cris Pemberton

(Advanced English, Beginning Showmanship, Beginning Western)
Cris is a very active member in the horse community. Cris and her mother Sue, were founding members of the Equine Welfare Coalition, a horse rescue group located out of Spokane. Cris has taught English riding for the last 16 years. A summer horse camp for campfire boys and campfire girls takes place at Mini Acres, her boardining and training facility in Colbert. In addition to horsemanship, Cris also has a passion for beading, combining the interests by opening a store "Bits n Beads" and offering beading classes.


Sally Schiller  

(Advanced Western, Trail)
Sally has judged many open, 4-H and Hunter/Jumper horse shows, as well as taught many clinics both Western and English. She has trained horses and students in Hunter/Jumper, Western, and Equitation.

Karen Mitchell

(Beginning English, Intermediate Showmanship, Intermediate Western Games, Driving)
Karen has ridden all her life. She showed 4-H and Open; competing in Showmanship, English, Western, Jumping, Driving, and Games.   Karen has trained horses and given lessons in the above disciplines. She was the coach of the Yamhill-Carlton High School Equestrian Team in Oregon for 2 years and on a professional rodeo drill team for 5 years.  Currently, she is barrel racing in the WBRA and IEBRA.

 

 Jennifer Lewis (Horseless Tract)
Jennifer lives in Moses Lake, WA with her husband Tim. She was an Odessa 4-H horse project member for 8 yrs, including 2 yrs as a Horse Camp Counselor. She showed many different animals, including her horse, Jay!
